CIRCA Works

A new project launching August 2011

CIRCA Works is a series of micro-residencies for emerging artists based in North East England, in the historic site of the Stephenson Works in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

CIRCA Works offers artists the opportunity to create new work in site-specific ways, in response to the context of a building that is a major part of the nation’s industrial heritage, where the world’s first ever locomotive, the Rocket, was built.
